FULL DAY (6 hours including lunch and breaks)
Face to face £600 for up to 12 attendees
£45 per additional attendee (max 30)
Plus any travel costs where applicable
Online £500 for up to 10 attendees

HALF DAY/EVENING (2.5-3 hours including break)
Face to Face £400 for up to 12 attendees

For face to face training, numbers will be limited by space available at the venue 
For face to face training travel expenses may be added where applicable. These will always be advised prior to booking confirmation
Course organisers are responsible for hiring an appropriate venue, providing any refreshments and all other associated costs, including venue hire.

I am contracted to deliver certain courses each year (see those marked with a * for 2025-26 courses) by West Sussex County Council Early Years Training. If the course you request is available through West Sussex different prices may apply.

Terms and conditions

To help us enable the training to be successful, please can you ensure the following:
 
PRIOR TO TRAINING

• Confirm the register/number of participants attending. We will require the course register to create certificates for the delegates (if required) and will need this ideally at least three days prior to the agreed date. Additional candidates can be added after this by email notification up to the agreed maximum number. Any over-subscriptions are chargeable
• For face to face training: confirm the venue address and details, as well as emergency contact details for the day of training, at least 7 days prior to the training date 
• For online training: that all delegates have their online log-ins, copies of the PowerPoints and any pre-course activities or reading materials in good time

 
ON THE DAY
Face to face training

• That the consultant/trainer is notified of your health and safety procedures, including fire evacuation, whilst on site.
• That the room has been adequately set up in order to proceed with training, any equipment requested has been supplied with full instructions on use and contact details of your appointed person to contact in an emergency are provided, if they are not present at the training.

Online training

• That delegates have an appropriate place to attend from, where they will not be interrupted and with adequate wi-fi connection.
• That delegates have access to an appropriate device with screen, camera and microphone, such as a PC, laptop or tablet to attend via. A mobile phone is not suitable.

​FINANCE

• A deposit of 50% of the total fee is due following confirmation of booking 

• Final payment – remainder of fee plus expenses are due within seven days of the training provided. An invoice will be sent shortly before this date for immediate payment.
• Invoices not paid within the specified time will incur late payment charges.

 
CANCELLATION CHARGES

• More than 28 days prior to training start date – no charge.
• 14-27 days prior to training start date – 50% charge.
• 7-13 days prior to training start date - 75% charge
• Less than 7 days before training start date – full fee due.
• Any expenses incurred will be charged
• If we have not been informed of the cancellation, the full fee remains payable.
• If we are unable to deliver the training for any reason you will be offered an alternative date or full refund of any fees paid and reasonable costs incurred.
